Since P is the centroid it means NQ is the median from vertex N. It means P divides the median NQ in 2:1. So, PN:PQ=2:1.

14. We have QN=30.

$PN=\dfrac{2}{2+1}QN$

$PN=\dfrac{2}{3}(30)$

$PN=2(10)$

$PN=20$

Therefore, the value of PN is 20 when QN=30.

15. We have QN=9.

$PN=\dfrac{2}{2+1}QN$

$PN=\dfrac{2}{3}(9)$
