Every state has its own Constitution and the purpose of this is to outline the laws that are applicable to that state as well as how the structure of the government of that state will be structured.

The three branches of government are the Executive which has to duty of enforcing laws, the Legislature which has the duty of making laws and the Judiciary which has the duty of being the custodians of law.
