Answer: b. good B; good A

Explanation:

According to the Heckscher-Ohlin model, a country should export the good that is has a relative abundance in and import the good it has relative scarcity in.

Find out labor to land ratio of both countries:

Country Alpha = 45 / 15 = 3

Country Beta = 200 / 100 = 2

Country Alpha has 3 labor units per acre

Country Beta has 2 labor units per acre

Country Alpha therefore has more labor abundance and should export the labor intensive good which is good A which means Country B will import A.

Country Beta should export more land intensive good which is good B.

Explanation:

This is a case of hierarchy. Hierarchy is a subordinate relationship of an employee who must report to someone who holds a higher position, such as a manager. In the hierarchy relationship the employee has little decision autonomy. This is common in most companies. In the case narrated, Jen is not allowed to decide on her own whether a return can be made. This way, she needs to consult her boss, who will decide whether or not to allow Jen to accept the return.

Option B

Explanation:

In simple words, under such tax reforms the government is intending to raise indirect taxes which will lead to higher prices of certain goods and is also declining taxes on savings. Both of these steps will work as an incentive for individuals to save more.

However a big majority of community is stating that this will only lead to more burden on the weaker section due to higher prices of commodities and will eventually result in lower standard of living for certain individuals.
