Answer:

With the development of farming, human beings found a way to generate sustenance for their people without having to migrate from land to land, or depend on the seasons of the lands, to survive.

Farming enabled human groups to settle down on specific lands and ensured a steady, and growing, supply, and even surplus of food that further encouraged settlement, population growth and the need for other economic activities. When food was in abundance, people began to realize they could exchange them for other types, and thus contact between peoples began. Also, people began to learn about the process of animal domestication and with it, even more economic growth ensued. Between the production of food, and animal use for farming, people were able to travel, exchange, and continue finding chances for further development.

Farming lead to new types of economic activities through a steady food supply and that the food surplus meant that not all people have to farm. This also resulted that some people become expert and skilled in the production of goods.
