Answer:

Population pyramid is used to show the changes taking place in demography of country.

Explanation:

  • The population pyramid shows the demographic structure of a community. Births, deaths, and migration are three important components of population change that alter the trends in the population composition of a place.
  • The main economic reason why the people under the age group of 50 are less likely to migrate to the community is due to they have good earnings and better standards of living.
  • One social factor that can attract the migrants that are over the age of 65 is social linkages and cultural ties. The population of females that is vier 80 years of age is more in numbers due to they have better health conditions.
  • The population pyramid can be used to show social welfare as it harnesses human capital over time.

Why is helot important
Masja [62]

The Helots were Greeks that had been captured and enslaved by Spartans. The Helots performed many important duties in Sparta, including working on the land to produce food.

The Helots were incredibly important in the social structure of the Spartan society, because each Spartan householder needed to contribute a certain amount of food for the messes, and without the Helots tilling and taking care of the land, this could not be possible.

But the Helots were considered as the lowest class in the society and kept under constant watch.

A8. Shifts in the spatial organization of production or the spatial organization of manufacturing

A9. Lack of planning or reduced regulation of land use in the urban periphery or unincorporated areas

B. Describe TWO ways that the spatial organization of commercial land use is different between the original CBD and an edge city. (2 points)

 Original CBD

B. 1. High-density buildings and/or land use; skyscrapers

C1. New construction areas, or urban sprawl, may replace open space or farms

C2. Loss of natural and/or animal habitats, introduction of invasive or nonnative species

C3. Dependence on automobile or lack of public transportation can result in increased air pollution and

greenhouse gas emissions or a larger carbon footprint

C4. Impact on land because low-density development occupies more land than a high-density development

(more land used for roads, larger building footprints)

C5. Lack of parks, green spaces, and trees causes heat island effect

C6. Numerous roads and parking lots absorb heat and contribute to the heat island effect

C7. Waste, soil erosion, or pollution from construction sites

C8. More impervious surfaces created by new construction (buildings, roads, parking lots) cause more

storm water runoff and flooding
