The only disadvantage I could think of would be price of equipment needed to produce energy from the source (i.e. price of solar panels)

  • As all the renewable resource on the planet are rechargeable;e and they are replenished by nature within the human time frame and they have the potential to be developed more and hence are eco-friendly but many factors are associated with these resources as they are abundant they have to develop and thus there is requirement of the technology for this.
  • Apart from this the resources technology is very costly and these need to be available in every nation which is not possible at the same time and they also need storage capabilities.  Like the winds, waves and the solar energy.
