A somber poem written in mourning for the dead is called_____. A. a ballad B. an epic C. A sonnet D. an ode
horsena [70]
A somber poem written in mourning for the dead is called elegy, you must have written your options wrong, because I don't see the correct option elegy here.
A ballad is a poem that tells a story, usually of a romanticized character, in short, rhythmic stanzas. An epic is a long poem that tells a story of a hero or legend. A sonnet is a love poem, generally that follows a specific structure. An ode is serious poem written to express strong emotion.

Seeing as you’ve supposedly read this story, I recommend analyzing the text briefly before writing your narrative (mini story from the perspective of Grendel)

Use your imagination to turn Grendel into whatever you want while maintaining facts.

It actually isn’t too difficult. It shouldn’t take long. Let your creativity thrive!

Respond to the short response question with a minimum of SEVEN COMPLETE DETAILED SENTENCES.
BlackZzzverrR [31]
In the book in chapter 9 Sir Francis Bacon wants revenge on the socs. When you want revenge, it is usually driven by a feeling of defeat or betrayal. But it’s not the best way to solve your problems, since it most of the time becomes a revenge cycle, it becomes a habit, or it could come back to you. In the rumble there is a lot of pain and sadness. The rumble was definitely not worth it, since mostly everyone ended up injured and nothing was gained in the process. No they did not get their revenge, they became devastated even when done, it made things worse for all that matters. He was definitely wrong because he lost everything and gained nothing.
