Answer:

Point A is located at (8,6)

Step-by-step explanation:

As I said in the last answer I did for u, (8,6) basically means x is 8 and y is 6. If you see A, A is located on 8 for x and 6 for y. the others are incorrect such as B because B is on the 8 for x but the y is on 8. hope this helps '∆'

Simple,

2.) If a circle is divided into 9 parts and your are trying to find three of those parts, first find what is 1 of those parts...

In a circle there is 360°

360/9=40

That is 1 part.

For three parts it would be 40*3=120

Your answer is 120°

3.) Do the same thing here.

A circle is 360°

360/10=36

Now, for four of those parts...

36*4=144

The answer is 144°.

A constant force a={2,8} moves an object along a straight line from the point (3,6) to the point (10,14). Find the work done if
Paha777 [63]

Answer:

The work done is 78 ft-lbs.

Step-by-step explanation:

The work W done by a force F in moving along a vector D is

\textbf{W}= \textbf{F}\cdot  \textbf{D}

In our case the displacement vector is

\textbf{D}==

So the work done is

\textbf{W}= \textbf{F}\cdot  \textbf{D}\\\textbf{W}=\cdot \\\textbf{W}=2\cdot7+8\cdot 8\\\textbf{W}=78

We know that the unit of force is pounds and the distance is mesuared in feet, then the work done is 78 ft-lbs.
