Answer:

The Great Depression was arguably America’s darkest hour. Looking back, modern day Americans cannot fathom the despair and hopelessness that covered America like an itchy woolen blanket throughout the 1930s. How bad were those days? What kept American families alive? Where was God? Now, imagine if another Great Depression happened tomorrow. Could America recover? As a student flips through his history textbook, he spots a photo of men lined up around a block waiting for bread at a soup kitchen. Why does gerrymandering occur?
irina [24]
It is mostly used to favor a political party in elections. In the US, it has been used during our entire history, from the Federalists and Anti-Federalists. Today, both Democrats and Republicans have used it. It has also been used to both increase the political power of minorities but also disenfranchise minorities. There have been several US Supreme Court cases dealing with gerrymandering and has resulted in several states adopting non-partisan redistricting committees.

In 1883 who was responsible for creating the first system of time zones in the United States
Dennis_Churaev [7]
In 1883, it was the "railroad industry" that was responsible for creating the first system of time zones in the United States, since the introduction of rail travel meant that there needed to be a set table of departure and arrival times across the US.
