PLEASE HELP
lilavasa [31]

Those two functions just miss each other so there are no real solutions.  Every polynomial with complex coefficients has complex solutions.

2x^2 + 2 = 3x

2x^2 - 3x = -2

2( x^2 - \frac 3 2 x) = -2

x^2 - \frac 3 2 x = -1

x^2- \frac 3 2 x+ (\frac 3 4)^2= -1 + (\frac 3 4 )^2

(x - \frac 3 4)^2 = -\frac 7{16}

x - \frac 3 4 = \pm \sqrt{ -\frac 7{16}}

x = \frac 3 4 \pm \frac i 4 \sqrt{7}

x = \frac 1 4(3 \pm i \sqrt{7})
