3/5x-5
I believe this is the expression that is described.
x intercept = where the function crosses the x axis (x,0)
y intercept = where the function crosses the y-axis (0,y)
A. y=7/2x-2
x intercept , replace y by 0 and solve for x:
0 =7/2x-2
2= 7/2 x
2 / (7/2) = x
x= 4/7
y-intercept, replace x by 0 and solve for y
y= 7/2x-2
y= 7/2 (0) -2
y=-2
B.
x-intercept:
x=-3
y-intercept
0=-3
It doesn't have a y-intercept.
Put them all in to decimals so dived 1 by 5 and 32 by 100 then they will all be decimals and you can more essay compare them
If i were you, i would add one to 7x and fifteen. this gives you x^2+8x+16, a perfect square of x+4.
