However, with the expenses of the war, the government had to cut spending and one of those expenses was financial aid to poor families, that is, King claimed that the war promoted the spending of money that would be better used if it was used to help Americans. This reason is very logical because it is a fact, proven by evidence and supporting details, in addition to pointing out a very realistic and identifiable social situation.
