Answer:

I will allow you to be creative in writing your own paragraph.

Explanation:

A simple sentence = one independent clause

Ex.:  I went to school.

A compound sentence = two simple sentences connected together (typically with a comma and a coordinating conjunction)

Ex: I went to school, and I learned how to write.

A complex sentence = an independent clause and dependent clause connected together (the order is unimportant, but the punctuation *IS* important.

Ex.: I cleaned my room before I went to school.  (indep + dep.)

Ex. Before I went to school, I cleaned my room.  (dep. + indep.)

A compound-complex sentence is a combination of the two previous types.

Ex.: I cleaned my room, and I took a shower before I went to school.

Ex.: Before I went to school, I cleaned my room, and I took a shower.

I would be able to read over your paragraph if you want to send it to me. I'll give you feedback.

What are some kennings for hope?
Dafna1 [17]

Answer:

Used primarily in Anglo-Saxon poetry, the epic poem Beowulf is full of kennings. For example, the term whale-road is used for the sea and "shepherd of evil" is used for Grendel. Other well known kennings include "battle sweat" for blood; "raven harvest" for corpse; and "sleep of the sword" for death.

What are the different ways of interpreting the title of the short story "Was It a Dream?"
myrzilka [38]
The title could be interpreted as a story about a man's dream and the confusion of was he dreaming or did it actually happen. Or it could be interpreted as a delusion a man had and he is having trouble figuring out the difference between reality or imagination.
