Mrs. Jurez is using the Jigsaw classroom technique. This technique was presented in the early 70's in the nineteenth century. It helps in lowering racism in the education system among students and achieve better grades by a way of learning that is more fun, which makes them like school more.
It also incorporates teamwork as they have to work in groups and cooperate with each other. This technique also helps in developing confidence since they have to teach one other.

Based on the information provided in regards to the situation at hand it seems that Jane's nausea best illustrates spontaneous recovery. This is a phenomenon discovered by Ivan Pavlov which refers to the re-appearance of a conditioned response thought to have been gone after a significant delay. Which is what is happening since Jane suddenly began having nausea (conditioned response) after having entered the waiting room a couple of decades later.
