- When the timer clocks 3 minutes, stop the routine and sit while maintaining an upright posture. Record your heart rate for 60 seconds counting each beat. For more accuracy begin recording as soon as you can after stopping the exercise.
ONE MILE RUN
- The 1-Mile Walk Test requires the participant to walk one mile in the quickest possible time, and using post exercise heart rate to estimate VO2max.

1.Use a forehand grip.
2.Stand sideways with your non-racket hand facing the net
3.Shift your weight to your rear foot, bend your elbow holding the racket and prepare to hit the incoming shuttle.
4.As you hit the shuttle, straighten your elbow, tapping the shuttle as you hit it. Keep in mind the angle of the racket which will determine the shuttle's direction.
5.Do a follow through and shift your weight from the rear to the front foot.
