All of those are congruency short-cuts. S stands for side, A stands for Angle. Using these shortcuts, we can prove congruency in triangles easier. in the problem above, we are given a pair of angles that are congruent and a side that is congruent. Using the vertical angle theorem, we have two angles and 1 side so both those triangles would be congruent by AAS.

There are two congruency methods that don't work. There's SSA and AAA, For number 3, it would be congruent by ASA, not AAS, and for number 4, it would be congruent by AAS, or SAA, SAA is more used.

Andreyy89

Answer: One book has a greater mass.

Step-by-step explanation:

Jamal has a pair of shoes with a total mass of 960 grams. This means that each shoe has a mass of:

960 grams ÷ 2= 480 grams per shoe.

Jamal also has four identical books with a total mass of 2 kilograms. Note that 1000 grams make a kilograms. Therefore 2 kilograms will be (2 × 1000 grams) = 2000 grams.

Each book will have a mass of:

2000 ÷ 4 = 500 grams per book.

One shoe has a mass of 960 divided 2 = 480 grams . One book has a mass of 2000 divided 4 = 500 grams . So one book has a greater mass.

State the Rules for Reflection across the x-axis and across the y-axis
prisoha [69]

The rule for reflecting over the X axis is to negate the value of the y-coordinate of each point, but leave the x-value the same. For example, when point P with coordinates (5,4) is reflecting across the X axis and mapped onto point P', the coordinates of P' are (5,-4).
