Answer:

3.5 * 6.7 = 23.45

Step-by-step explanation:

(I am assuming you know how to do 2-digit by 2-digit problem, but just in case you don't I am putting in how to do it.)

You would multiply the problem like a normal 2-digit by 2-digit problem.

- multiply the ones places (5*7=35)

- you bring the 3 of the 35 and put it above the other 3

- you then do 7*3=21+3 because you moved it.

-so the first part of the question would be 35*7=245

-you go below the 5 and put a zero because you dont need the ones place anymore.

-you then do the same thing but with the tens place instead.

- You would then get 35*6=210, but you can't forget the zero.

- you would then add 245+2100=2,345

- But don't forget the decimals. you have to add the decimals to the answer.

- you count how many numbers that are behing both numbers, in this case it would be two.

- you then put the decimal after the ones and tens place.

A. What is the approximate perimeter of the concrete region?
Nastasia [14]
You have a square with half circles along the sides.
The length of each side is 4ft, so the radius of the circles is 2ft

to calculate the perimeter you can calculate the circumference of 4 half circles = 2 complete circles
c=2r*\pi=
2*2\pi=12.56
perimeter=2c=25.12=8\pi

the area is the area of 2 circles+the area of the square
circle area= r^2*\pi=2*2\pi=4\pi
concrete area=circle area*2+square area
=4\pi *2+(4*4)
=8\pi+(4*4)
=8\pi+16ft
=41.12 ft^2

A car drives at 45 km/h for 3 hours.<br> How far does the car travel?
stellarik [79]

Answer:

Hey!

The car travelled 135 kilometers!

Step-by-step explanation:

Here you have to do the speed (45km/h) multiplied by the time (3 hours)

45 x 3 = 135

So the car has travelled 135 kilometers!

Three stamps can be attached to each other in various ways.how many ways might three stamps be attached?
ivanzaharov [21]
Let's call the stamps A, B, and C. They can each be used only once. I assume all 3 must be used in each possible arrangement.
There are two ways to solve this. We can list each possible arrangement of stamps, or we can plug in the numbers to a formula.
Let's find all possible arrangements first. We can easily start spouting out possible arrangements of the 3 stamps, but to make sure we find them all, let's go in alphabetical order. First, let's look at the arrangements that start with A:
ABC
ACB
There are no other ways to arrange 3 stamps with the first stamp being A. Let's look at the ways to arrange them starting with B:
BAC
BCA
Try finding the arrangements that start with C:
C_ _
C_ _
Or we can try a little formula; y×(y-1)×(y-2)×(y-3)...until the (y-x) = 1 where y=the number of items.
In this case there are 3 stamps, so y=3, and the formula looks like this: 3×(3-1)×(3-2).
Confused? Let me explain why it works.
There are 3 possibilities for the first stamp: A, B, or C.
There are 2 possibilities for the second space: The two stamps that are not in the first space.
There is 1 possibility for the third space: the stamp not used in the first or second space.
So the number of possibilities, in this case, is 3×2×1.
We can see that the number of ways that 3 stamps can be attached is the same regardless of method used.

2/3 + 1/2 in simple form fractions
nata0808 [166]
Try and find the common denominator which is 6 since 2×3 is 6 then once u get ur denominator u have to find the numerator which would be 4/6+3/6 And that would equal 7/6 and if you would u would keep it like that but if u would have to change it into a mixed fraction it would be 1 and 1/6
