Answer:

the sum is less than 5

the sum is odd

the sum is not 7

the sum is not 12

Step-by-step explanation:

sum can't be 12: 35/36

sum is odd: 12/36

sum is less than 5: 6/36

sum is not 7: 30/36

normally you would simplify but in this case since you are comparing, you don't need to.

from the "chart" we can see the lowest is 6/36 which is the sum is less than 5.

basically you just compare the probability of each one and determine which one is the greatest/least and so on. hope this helps!

  • Slope Formula: m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}

Step-by-step explanation:

<u>Step 1: Define</u>

<em>Find points from table.</em>

Point (-1, -1)

Point (0, -5)

<u>Step 2: Find slope </u><em><u>m</u></em>

Simply plug in the 2 coordinates into the slope formula to find slope <em>m</em>.  Rate of change and slope are identical.

  1. Substitute [SF]:                    m=\frac{-5+1}{0+1}
  2. Add:                                     m=\frac{-4}{1}
  3. Divide:                                 m=-4

Dean put together first boxes for 5 of his neighbors. Each box cost $1.00 and contained a plant and a $3.00 pair of gardening gl
Scorpion4ik [409]
(5 Neighbors) x (($1.00 Box) + (? Plant) + ($3.00 Gloves)) = 42.50

5 x (1 + x + 3) = 42.50

Combine in parens.

5 x (4 + x) = 42.50

Distribute.

20 + 5x = 42.50

Subtract 20 from both sides.

5x = 22.50

Divide both sides by 5.

x = 4.50

Thats the cost of each plant.

Check.

5 x (1 + 4.50 + 3)

5 x 8.50 = 42.50

There is a clear bias. It is important however to not look at how many women got promoted with respect to men but which proportion of each subset got promoted. In the man files, 21/24 got promoted; this is a very high percentage, equal to 87.5%. Nonetheless, regarding women, 14/24 got promoted, 58,3%, barely over half of them. Hence, we conclude that there is a significant bias that favors male workers.
