Answer:    Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy

Explanation: The Torah represents the first five Old Testament books that are believed to have been written by Moses, in accordance with God's instructions.

The first book of Genesis, is about the creation of heaven, earth and all creatures on earth as well as man and woman. In addition, there are the stories of Adam and Eve in paradise, the exile of paradise, Noah and the floods, Abraham and God’s promise of God’s people and the promised land, Jacob and the twelve sons, of whom twelve tribes of Israel will become.

The second book of Exodus is about Moses and his mission that he received from God to bring the Jewish people out of Egyptian slavery.

The third book of Leviticus, is about the laws God sent to the Jews through Moses, which contain religious laws, how to prepare Jews for God's service, how to offer sacrifices, etc, but also regulate all social relations within the community, and are based on ethical and moral principles.

The fourth book of Numbers refers to God's counting of the Israelites divided into twelve tribes, and the recording of all those capable of fighting adversity and enemies while wandering through the desert, before entering the Promised Land.

In the fifth book called Deuteronomy, Moses wants the laws he gave to the Jews before his death to be established among them, for the Jews to obey  those laws, and to abhor disobedience. In other words, he wanted to encourage them to persevere in the fulfillment of God's laws.

Plunkitt often talks about seeing opportunities and taking them. What does this mean?
Grace [21]

Answer:

That line was written by George W. Plunkitt (The former Senator of New York)  in his book.

When he said that line, he was referring to the time when he know that the government is planning to make improvements in his city. At that time , the government was planning to built a lot of infrastructure that will most likely attract more investment to the city.

Plunkitt saw this as a huge opportunity. So, Plunkitt decided to buy several lands on a cheaper price while speculating that the value will most likely increase in the future,.

Need a Blackout poem using the Declaration of Independence (hope for freedom)
VikaD [51]

Here´s a blackout poem we can create based on the Declaration of Independence:

People respect happiness.

Tyrants only have standing armies.

Rule to have friends.

What´s a blackout poem?

A blackout poem is a form of found poetry that uses a few thoroughly selected words from a text to create a new text, poem, and even new ideas unrelated to the original content. It involves the technique of blacking out the words that won´t be used so that they are no visible, usually with a black permanent marker over a text printed on a piece of paper, like a newspaper.

So, to answer this question, you should choose words from the text that form a poem, and then color the rest of the text black.

Blackout poetry is a form of found poetry, meaning that uses an already-existing text to generate something different.

Learn more about poetry here:

To erase the rest of the text, I used a digital tool found on most computers that emulates that same technique.

In this image, you can see how the blackout poem should look like.
