Choose... believed that salvation is achieved through faith alone; Choose... believed that God predetermines who will be saved.
Free_Kalibri [48]

Answer:

Lutherans believed that salvation is achieved through faith alone.

Calvinists believed that God predetermines who will be saved.

Explanation:

Lutherans are a Christian sect that based their belief systems on the teachings of Martin Luther King. They believed in the possibility of salvation through faith and God's grace alone. They also believed in the Holy Trinity and that salvation is attainable by all if we follow in God's footsteps and decrees.

On the other hand, Calvinists believed that God predetermines who is to be saved and so there is not much that man can do. Predeterminism is the focus of Calvinist followers, based on the teachings of John Calvin. They also believed that with this predeterminism, those condemned by God have no chance of being saved even if they were to live in humility and follow God's laws.
