This excerpt might reinforce the Maori value that family members should support one another. It might be effected in the way the collaborate with each other, even though everyone has a role to play. One should offer what she/ he can do in order to help others.

"Writing is an outlet for the human desire to make things sound better than they actually are".
lozanna [386]
Actually, no it is not. If an absolute statement has a single thing that defies it, that statement is considered to be false. Writing is not always an outlet for the human desire to make things sound better than they actually are. Some literature are aimed at describing a certain situation or expressing what they feel at that moment. It is not always to make things sound better than what they are at the present.

What are some controversial/unpopular opinions that you have?
inysia [295]

Answer:

That we should return to the roots of why the United States is created, however, with exceptions.

Explanation:

The US was built primarily as a place for us to have "freedom", but the freedom comes with a price, and is not true freedom (being a limited freedom). While we have "freedom", it is defined, limited, and cannot trespass the boundary called laws.

However, in today's society, today's Millennials have mostly forgotten about our past, and do not respect the countries traditions. They demand some of the most foul opinions, and, being the loud minority, is able to force the rest of the US population to go along with them. I believe that this should not be the case, and that it had brought the US down. However, most of today's young adults do not agree, and continue to lead the people down the spiral. I wish not to put a definitive term, as it would cause an argument, but in the end, we must keep the good, and throw away the bad, not just throwing away both.

belka [17]
Showing uninhibited curiosity

(80% sure, another choice would be revealing detrimental ignorance, but given the fact that everyone is basically clueless when they begin new jobs I think showing inhibited curiosity is the answer).
