How did the environment impact life in Medieval Mesoamerica?

History

The environment influenced Mesoamerican peoples by determining what crops would support civilizations. Crops that grew successfully in Mesoamerican times. The climate varies from mountains and temperate to tropical and dry, and rain is generally scarce. Meaning there is so no water, crops don’t grow as much. Geography has affected every civilization in history, just like it affects us. The three greatest civilizations, the Maya, Aztecs, and Inca, all developed because they found good locations that supported their growth.
