Sign and symptoms of a disease depend on point of entry of a pathogen. Justify organ specific and tissue specific manifestation
Leokris [45]

Hi

It is true that the point of entry of a pathogen inside a body hold importance for the spread of pathogen. However, organ and tissue specific manifestation is the real impact of a pathogen in any organism's body. Firstly we need to understand what is meant by Organ and tissue specific manifestation:

It means that the specific organ or specific tissue is when affected by the entry of microbes or pathogens in the body, For example: The bacteria that cause tuberculosis enters the body through nose but manifests its action in lungs when multiplies there and affects the lungs' functionality and ultimately, depict the symptoms such as shortness and difficulty of breathing, this is basically organ specific manifestation.

Moreover, thee are some microbes that enter the body and damage certain tissues, for example HIV virus enters the body through sexual organs and travels to different tissues like nerve tissues, lymphatic system and damage them in a way that body's own immune system when counter reacts the microbes, it causes inflammation in the body and damage to overall tissues, This is called Tissue specific manifestation.

Hope it helps!

they would be melted and vaporized in the atmosphere.

Explanation:

Meteoroids is piece of solar rock before it strikes the earth surface. Meteorites are rocks that strikes the surface of the earth from space.

 • In earth science, meteorite impacts are often attributed with mass extinctions on the earth surface.
 • For a meteorite to reach the earth surface, it must has a very large diameter.
 • This big rocky mass must be able to escape the earth geomagnetic field and the ionizing radiation in the upper reaches of the earth atmosphere.
 • Meteoroids of smaller sizes cannot escape the earth's atmosphere and would completely ionized and melted.

An action potential involves potassium ions moving ________ the cell and sodium ions moving ________ the cell.
Alecsey [184]

An action potential involves potassium ions moving outside the cell and sodium ions moving inside the cell.

how does it action potential work?

Neurons have a negative concentration gradient most of the time, meaning there are more positively charged ions outside than inside the cell. This regular state of a negative concentration gradient is called resting membrane potential. During the resting membrane potential there are:

 • more sodium ions (Na^+ ) outside than inside the neuron
 • more potassium ions (K^+ ) inside than outside the neuron

The concentration of ions isn’t static though! Ions are flowing in and out of the neuron constantly as the ions try to equalize their concentrations. The cell however maintains a fairly consistent negative concentration gradient (between -40 to -90 millivolts). How?

 • The neuron cell membrane is super permeable to potassium ions, and so lots of potassium leaks out of the neuron through potassium leakage channels (holes in the cell wall).
 • The neuron cell membrane is partially permeable to sodium ions, so sodium atoms slowly leak into the neuron through sodium leakage channels.
 • The cell wants to maintain a negative resting membrane potential, so it has a pump that pumps potassium back into the cell and pumps sodium out of the cell at the same time.
