Well history does show us some pretty cool heroes and some pretty bad villains, but some stories from history are not real for example Poseidon god of the see in Greek myth. Greek myth can be counted as part of history.
Ehrman attributes the rapid spread of Christianity to two main factors: (1) the promise of salvation and eternal life for everyone was an attractive alternative to Roman religions; (2) stories of miracles and healings purportedly showed that the one Christian God was more powerful than the many Roman gods.

We went back to "Undisturbed Isolationism". We cut ourselves off diplomatically for the most part from many European powers out of fear of being brought into another World War. America was completely and only about America.
