Answer:

∠ EFG = 83°, ∠ GCE = 97°

Step-by-step explanation:

Since FE and FG are tangents to the circle then

∠ FGC and ∠ FEC are right angles

The sum of the angles in quadrilateral CEFG = 360°

Sum the 4 angles and equate to 360

3x + 11 + 90 + 5x - 23 + 90 = 360, that is

8x + 168 = 360 ( subtract 168 from both sides )

8x = 192 ( divide both sides by 8 )

x = 24

Thus

∠ EFG = 3x + 11 = 3(24) + 11 = 72 + 11 = 83°

∠ GCE = 5x - 23 = 5(24) - 23 = 120 - 23 = 97°

Anyone know how to get 96cm^2 because I got it wrong and that was the correct answer. Show me how to get D for number seven with
blsea [12.9K]
Area around
we see that all side are 4 legnth
therfor we have a cube
cube has 6 sides tha are sqyares

area of squaer=side^2
side=4

so
SA=6s^2
SA=6(4)^2
SA=6(16)
SA=96 cm^2

what you did is you found the volume

Suppose that 18 inches of wire costs 72 cents.
NeX [460]

Answer:

41 inches of wire will cost 164 cents.

Step-by-step explanation:

1st Method

Use proportions!

18/ 72 = 41/ c

Cross multiply

18 * c = 72 * 41

18c = 2952 divide both sides by 18

c = 164

2nd Method.

Find the rate of the costs. r = rate

18*r = 72

r = 4 cents/inch

Now that you've found the rate you can multiply it by 41 inches to find the cents the wire costs!

41 inch * r (cents/inch)          inches cancels out.

41 * 4 = 164

164 cents

Can someone help me please?!?
Damm [24]

Answer:

k=10

Step-by-step explanation:

g(x)=2x^2+ kx+18

when x=-2

g(-2)=2 (-2)^2 -2k +18

Since when x is -2, y =6

6=2 (-2)^2 -2k +18

6=18+8-2k

2k=26-6

2k=20

k=10
