Why does Edwards claim that nonbelievers are akin to spiders in "Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God"? ". . . and your own care
Aleks [24]

Edwards claims that nonbelievers are akin to spiders in Sinners in the Hands of an Angry God because spiders are powerless should a rock fall on them.

What Edwards is trying to say is that anything you do couldn't save you from hell if you do not have faith in God, because your actions would be as fragile as a spider's web trying to hold the weight of a rock that falls into it. Those actions, as the spider's web, would have no influence, and the spider would fall in hell.

Interpret the analogy.
gone:been::did:_____
Allushta [10]
If the options provided are does, ran, goes, done, then we have to take into consideration the first pair of the words. They are both used in the same form, past participle. That means that our answer has to have the same form as the word did. The only such word is ran. They are both past tenses, whereas does and goes are present, and done is past participle.

Is violence an effective means to create change in society? Why or why not? Use evidence from the speech and other examples from
riadik2000 [5.3K]
It is not an effective thing to create change in society. Yes it may work, but it can cause riots and things of that sort. A change caused by fear is not efficient. (Im sorry I don’t have time to get some examples, I’m leaving rn.)
