Yo, just wondering, how has society discouraged smoking?

It's been discouraged because of all the potential health risks like lung cancer and gum disease, etc. I don't judge those who smoke. It's their choice and society shouldn't tell them what they can and can't do (within reason of course)

Answer:

It really ruins your lungs. My grandpa started smoking at 14 and ended up with lung cancer and died at 64. Smoking is also really bad for the air pollution. You can get mouth infections and it is just really not good for you.
