Answer:

Magical Realism, also known as Magic Realism is a literary style that has been best developed by Latin American authors, whose stories portray the reality of the world, but with the use of hints of magic and supernatural phenomena. As such, is almost like portraying the presence of magic in an otherwise non-magical world. The idea of Magic Realism really first made its appearance in painting, in Europe, but not long after that it transferred into Hispanic America through the influence of painters such as Roh, who influenced writers such as Arturo Uslar-Pietri. After this, Magic Realism was taken by Latin American authors and transformed into a completely new literary genre, from 1927 onwards.

There are many Latin American authors whose works are considered Magical Realism, but probably the best known of all are the works of Gabriel García Marquez, particularly, "One Hundred Years of Solitude", a novel that has been deemed as the best representation of Magical Realism. Another very well known Magical Realist writer, and probably the one who initiated the concept as it is known today, was Alejo Carpentier, who transformed the idea from the European concept acquired from painting and adapted it in 1949. A final author, from the many, that is one of the best known for representing Magical Realism in his works, and who totally revolutionized the idea from its original concept, and changed it from what it had become from Alejo Carpentier and Arturo Uslar-Petri, was Jorge Luis Borges.

Rom4ik [11]
If the underlined pronoun is him, then the correct answer is B) object of a preposition.
There is a preposition from in front of the pronoun, that is why that answer is correct.
