Answer:. one direction , one direction is one of the biggest band on the planet with over 200 awards and 800 fan tatoos , one direction is filled up of 5 members, louis tomlinson , niall horan , liam payne , zayn malik and harry styles . the band was formed in 2010 and they were all between the ages 16-19 the band was formed on x factor they all auditioned soloist and lost in one of the rounds but then guest judge asked them if they wanted to become a band and if they decided to come together they would still continue on to the other rounds and they did by the time they came finalist but they lost and came in 3rd place. After x factor the band went on to selling out tours in under 10 minutes . In March of 2015 band memeber zayn malik left the band because of personal reasons and at the end of 2015 the band went on to hiatus which was supposed to be 18 months but has gone onto almost 6 years im postivie hat the band will come together and start when they left off , but all the members has gone onto making solo music , very popular and well known music.
