Answer:

Jackie ultimately left college in the spring of his senior year, just a few credits short of his graduation. He accepted a job as an athletic administrator, but his dreams remained focused on the field of play.

He spent two years playing semi-professional football for integrated teams in leagues in Hawaii and California before being drafted into the U.S. Army in the spring of 1942, during World War II, although he never saw combat.

He was accepted into Officer Candidate School and was assigned to segregated Army units, first in Kansas and then in Texas. During this time, however, he remained close to Rachel, with whom he became engaged in 1943.

Answer:

The most memorable day in my life that I can think of at the moment is when my brother and I went to the park near my house and we got lost coming home. My brother and I both remember this story, and we still joke about it sometimes.

My brother and I were bored a few weeks after we moved into our new house. We were both about 11 or 12, and we had started going to a new school. Our sister was with her friends, so we decided to the park by ourselves to pass the time away.

We asked permission from our mom, who told us to be back before 5. We were so excited that had a race down to the park. At some point we forgot which way we had turned on one road, but we were having so much fun running to the park that we didn't care.

We both had so much fun when we were at the park, but when we were trying to get back to the house, we ended up getting lost! Now that I look back on it, it is a very funny memory, but at the time, we were terrified. So my brother called my mom, and she had to come pick us up. She was so mad because we promised her that we knew how to get back home, but relieved that we were safe.

So that is the story of how me and my brother got lost coming back from the park, and we had to get mom to come pick us up. It's such a good memory, I love it so much. It will always be memorable for me.

The use of the words and, not, and or in a search engine is known as
Sophie [7]
Boolean search terms.

Adding the words AND, NOT, and OR into your search phrase can help widen or narrow your findings. If you want to make sure your answers bring up two different ideas or terms that are both found in the text results, you can add AND between them. If you want to broaden your search to include many different phrases you can add OR in between them. It's called a Boolean search because it was devised by George Boole.
