The Mongols are known as one of the best warriors of the entire Middle Ages. There are many reasons for this. The nomadic lifestyle made them very resilient, the breeds of their horses were of the highest quality, and everything was shaped by strict military discipline. The Mongols were also familiar with gunpowder, and for this purpose, firearms were confiscated. The cannon was certainly one of those weapons. There were many records during the siege when the Mongols used a cannon. If these cannons were often not precise, they knew how to inflict enormous damage on the enemy and break the morale of the rival army.
