The correct answer is "Nations must cooperate to bring about and maintain world peace."

The Treaty of Versailles marked the creation of the "League of Nations". An association of countries with the sole objective of preventing conflicts between member nations to preserve World peace. However, this effort would fail to fulfill its purpose when the Japanese decided to withdraw from the treaty and maintain their invasion over the region fo Manchuria in 1933.
