My first reason for believing this is Because Belle from Beauty and the Beast because whenever Bell first saw the beast she was scared of him automatically. Another reason is because the whole town wanted to kill the beast when they heard about it.

Instead of being calm and trying to talk to the beast and help her father she was scared. Belle didn’t take the time to try and get to know him and see his intentions.
