Abe Lincoln enjoyed learning because he was a man of his word. He made a great leader because he was dedicated and motivated. Lincoln taught himself to read and write early on, and began to fall in love with politics and law. Lincoln was good at memorizing and he used this to his advantage when teaching himself to read and write.

In Nicaragua, the military was used to stage a political coup (overthrow) so bring in a pro-US government. This angered many in Nicaragua as well as surrounding countries. There was fear the US would continue imperial control, manipulating the newly formed governments in Latin America.
