it’s important for the spinal cord to intercept messages of pain because the spinal cord is responsible for an automatic movement in response to a stimulus that’s called reflex, and make responding to the stimulus faster.example: putting your hand on a hot stove, 1. the receptors in your hand detect stimuli (hot temperature). they send messages through nerves to your spinal cord 2. responding nerves signals travel directly from the spinal cord to muscles in your arm, and you pull your hand away 3. AFTER you respond to the stimuli, nerve signals travel from the spinal cord to the brain, and you feel pain.

gayaneshka [121]

Answer:

The correct option is B) Some wolves may have had variants in their digestion that allowed them to eat wheat, rice, barley, corn, and potatoes and so were able to survive with humans.

Explanation:

Organism of a population might have genetic variations in them due to many reasons. The species of a population which are better adapted to live in a particular area are able to survive and produce more offsprings. As a result, that particular area increases in that genetic variant.

In the above scenario, some of the wolves had variants in their digestion which made them better adapted to live with the humans as they could eat wheat, rice etc. The wolves which did not have variants in their digestion couldn't survive in the human areas.

Plants take up carbon dioxide from the air and nutrients from the soil. This is an example of interactions between biosphere, atmosphere and geosphere. The answer is letter B. Bioshphere is the representation of any living organism on earth such as plants and animals. Even the tiniest organism that cannot be seen is considered a part of biosphere. Atmosphere is the blanket of gases that wraps around the earth. We may not see it but we can feel it. Geosphere is the land itself, the earth as a whole. From the core,to mantle and to crust. So in the example given, plants represent the biosphere, carbon dioxide form air represents the atmosphere and soil represents geosphere.
