This question is incomplete. Here's the complete question.

Read The Scholarship jacket”, by Marta Salinties

In her first meeting with the principal, Marta could have challenged him by telling what she had overheard the two teachers saying. Why do you think she stayed silent? What do you think the principal would have said or done if she'd told him she knew the real reason she wasn't being given the jacket?

Answer:

I think Martha stayed silent in the first meeting out of pure shock because she was not expecting such a horrible strategy. Maybe, she was so eager to get the jacket by any means necessary, even paying for it despite that being unfair.

Explanation:

However, if she had confronted the principal in that first meeting, he probably would have denied it and forced himself to defend the new policy, making the happy ending impossible.

EastWind [94]

Answer:

Explanation:

While it is true that the founding fathers acted not that long ago, and they did discuss how the country should be governed, and they were concerned about liberties and freedoms and responsibilities, that was not the important point that Lincoln was trying to make.

The main point is that freedom was meant for all citizens and that equality was meant for all citizens.

What contribution did Isaac asimov make to the world of modern science
Zepler [3.9K]

Answer: I do not know if this is a multiple choice question or not, but I would contend that through his numerous science works he broadly influenced modern science and sparked the interest, and even the fascination, of the public in the subject.

Explanation: American writer and university professor Isaac Asimov (1920-1992) wrote and edited hundreds of science-fiction and popular science books (and also books on many other topics) for the broad public, which made science and technology more accessible and understandable, and changed the way people thought about those disciplines. His view of robots was particularly influential: he humanized them and contributed to their depiction and their profusion in public culture.
