Answer:

There extinction is still not completely identified but I believe it was a meteor which could cause millions of dinosaurs and plants to die causing nothing for the omnivores to eat and then after the omnivores die off there would be nothing for the carnivores to eat either. When a meteor crashes it will send many of those rocks back in space causing them to fall back down on earth. After earth begun to get normal again little organisms evolved into new creatures. Some people believe a volcano caused the extinction but how can one volcano destroy the world.
