4.

a. Draw three circles. Split each circle into three parts. Shade two circles. Shade one part in the last circle.

b. Draw four squares. Split each square into four parts. Shade three squares. Shade three of the parts in the last squares.

c. Draw two circles. Split each circle into five parts. Shade one of the circles. Shade three parts in the last circle.

d. Draw three rectangles. Split each rectangle into six parts. Shade two of the three rectangles and five parts of the last one.

e. Draw four circles. Split each circle into eight parts. Shade three circles and seven parts of the last one.

Note: I hope this is good enough. Also, if the PDF decides to work, there is actually an error on it. For part d, I drew circles instead of rectangles.

5.

   4\frac{1}{4}, 4\frac{2}{3}, 4 \frac{3}{4}

6.

4 and 2/3 is closer to 5. The difference between 4 and 2/3 and 5 is 1/3. The difference between 5 and 3/4 and 5 is 3/4. 1/3 is less than 3/4. Therefore, 4 and 2/3 is closer to 5.

Note: I wrote each number in bold so you wouldn't get confused. I don't really know how to explain this but I hope it makes sense to you.
