What do the locations of Montreal and Los Angeles have in common
olya-2409 [2.1K]

Answer:

Both Montreal and Los Angeles are two of the most important cities in Canada and the United States, respectively. In both cases, it is the second most populated city in each country, in addition to being industrial and economic poles of their respective regions.

Geographically, both cities have the coincidence that they are on the banks of water courses of great importance for the commercial and economic development of these cities: thus, Los Angeles is located on the shores of the Pacific Ocean, which opens the doors to trade with the East; while Montreal is on the banks of the Saint Lawrence River, which connects the city with the Atlantic Ocean.

What caused the Thirty Years War in Europe?
AveGali [126]

The Commercial Revolution lead many feudal and local entities to be diminished or disappeared entirely, but some reinvented themselves to become absolutist monarchies and national states. This violent process contributed to the Wars of Religion.

This culminated in the Thirty Years War (1618–48), within the Holy Roman Empire between German Protestants and their allies (Sweden, Denmark, France) and the Holy Roman Emperor and his Habsburg allies. It began as a religious war, but ended as a struggle for national superiority.

How did farm families get things that they needed, such as cloth in the mid-1800’s
Lorico [155]

The correct answer is, B) bought from the store.

Family farmers got things that they needed such as cloth in the mid-1800s by buying it from the store.

In those years, people did not have enough money to have clothes for each day of the week and keep a collection in the wardrobe. Just had what they needed to use for work and something different for church on Sundays or special events. Yes, they bought it from the store as well as the things they needed. But they were frugal. The times demanded to be cautious with the money spent on things. Just the necessary.
