Answer: Famine and war are often interrelated

Explanation:

According to the article, famine induced by conflict is actually quite rampant. Starvation is often used as a weapon against people in war and this can lead to famine with the destruction of food sources.

When there is conflict, people are unable produce food which also leads to famine. This is what happened and is still happening in Yemen and what happened in South Sudan.
