Does anyone know how to answer this exercise?
neonofarm [45]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

The leftmost line segment has a slope of -2 and (-1,-1)  is a point on the line.

Equation: y = -2x-3

middle line segment has a slope of 0 and  y-intercept of -2.

Equation:  y = -2

The rightmost line segment has a slope of 1.5. (5,0) is a point on the line.

y = 1.5(x-5) = 1.5x-7.5

How do i Evaluate this expression?
timofeeve [1]

\text{Hey there!}

\bf{9.83+8.2(7.01)}

\text{You could solved this equation by doing PEMDAS}

\text{PEMDAS simply means}\downarrow

\text{Parentheses }

\text{Exponents}

\text{Multiplication}

\text{Division}

\text{Addition}

\text{Subtraction}

\text{In your equation you have \bf{MULTIPLICATION \& ADDITION}}

\text{Now,  that we have every information we need.. lets solve the problem}

\text{We have to do \underline{MULITPLICATION} first then \underline{ADDITION} last}

\text{9.83 + 8.2(7.01)}

\text{8.2(7.01)=57.482}

\text{9.83 + 57.482 = 67.312}

\boxed{\boxed{\text{Thus your answer is most likely: \bf{67.312}}}}\checkmark

Which equation is in point-slope form and depicts the equation of this line?
Elodia [21]
We know
in the graph two points
point 1 (2,1)  and point 2 (-1,-4)
the equation in point-slope form is ----------------> (y-y1)=m(x-x1)

step 1
find the value of m
m=(y2-y1)/(x2-x1)----------> (-4-1)/(-1-2)--------> m=5/3

step 2
with the point (-1,-4)  and m=5/3
find the equation in point-slope form
(y-(-4))=(5/3)*(x-(-1))-------------> (y+4)=(5/3)(x+1)

the answer is the option d) ( y+ 4 ) =+ 5/3 ( x + 1 )
