The Laotian rock rat or kha-nyosometimes called the "rat-squirrel", is a rodent species of the Khammouan region of Laos. The species was first described in a 2005 article by Paulina Jenkins and coauthors, who considered the animal to be so distinct from all living rodents, they placed it in a new family, Laonastidae. In 2006, the classification of the Laotian rock rat was disputed by Mary Dawson and coauthors. Dawson and her colleagues suggested instead it belongs to the ancient fossil family Diatomyidae, that was thought to have been extinct for 11 million years, since the late Miocene. It would thereby represent a Lazarus species. The animals resemble large, dark rats with hairy, thick tails like those of a squirrel. Their skulls are very distinctive and have features that separate them from all other living mammals.
Answer:
No, glucose and sucrose are not complex substances. Both are simple substances. Complex molecules are polysaccharides such as glycogen and starch.
Explanation:
Glucose is made of one sugar atom and known as monosaccharide, while sucrose is composed of two sugar atoms i. e. glucose and fructose. So that's why glucose and sucrose are not complex molecules.
Answer:
Explanation:
The sperms are the male gametes these develop in the testicles which are the male reproductive organs. Each testes consists of system of tubes called as seminiferous tubules. In seminiferous tubules the spermatogenesis takes place in which the development sperm cells receives nourishment for maturation.
The sperms moves from the seminiferous tubules to the duct like vas deferens from where the sperm moves to be ejected out of the body. If the sperms were produced by the solid tissue except the seminiferous tubules the movement of sperms will be restricted the ejection process may get slow down.
