I'd say that they got it from exploration, really.
Some of the social similarities between classical Greece and Rome are as follows:
1. Within both Greece and Rome there was social classes. This class system was created by wealth differentiation amongst the citizens. The social classes within Greece were; slaves, freedmen, metics, citizens and women. While in Rome there were; slaves, freedmen, plebeians and patricians.
2. Both Greece and Rome practiced polytheistic religion. This means that they believed in more than one gods.

According to </span>Aristotle<span>, these elements </span>define<span> a </span>tragedy<span>: The major characters </span>in<span> a </span>tragedy<span> are not average. ... Geography of China affected the development of the early civilization affect China greatly because "where it was located." China built on mountains and hills which greatly impacted them geography. Being in different locations giving you benefits for example better soil, more water, and harder for enemies to attack because being up a moutain they would have to climb in order to get too you. Some locations also didn't have good benefits for example harsher weather and not being able to get to other places but many benefits defensive, and agriculture wise.
