Why is the iambic pentameter particularly useful in Shakespeare's drama Macbeth

It showed how refined his characters were. It tended to show a more eloquent way of speaking. The way iambic pentameter  works is a combination of 5 stressed and 5 unstressed syllables its almost chant like which shows the witch sisters almost hypnotic way of speaking. It allows us to know they are witches.
