False. And the earth is flat! No Jk It is true. Think of gravity as a huge blanket that is stretched out and then when you put an object on it the blanket falls down a bit then when you drop another object that is smaller on the blanket this object falls into the drop and as it falls down it slowly orbits the bigger object but if the speed is perfect, the objects momentum will keep it from eventually crashing into the bigger object.
