Answer: because it is hard to find different types of healthy foods that you would want and you will get attracted to the unhealthy foods that you would usually to eating.

The human body has not evolved a great deal in the past 2000 + years so you get more pleasure from foods with more calories as that is a basic survival mechanism. As such many find it hard to let go of this extra pleasure and consequently extra calories
