To identify high-paying jobs for people that do not like stress, the following data were collected showing the average annual sa

lary ($1000) and the stress tolerance for a variety of occupations (Business Insider, November 8, 2013). The stress tolerance for each job is rated on a scale from 0 to 100, where a lower rating indicates less stress.
Job Average Annual Salary ($1000s) Stress Tolerance
Art directors 81 69
Astronomers 96 62
Audiologists 70 67.5
Dental hygienists 70 71.3
Economists 70 63.3
Engineers 92 69.5
Law teachers 92 62.8
Optometrists 100 65.5
Political scientists 98 60.1
Urban and regional planners 102 69

Answer:

Y = -0.09594X + 74.35629

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the data :

Job average annual salary (X) :

81

96

70

70

70

92

92

100

98

102

Stress tolerance (Y) :

69

62

67.5

71.3

63.3

69.5

62.8

65.5

60.1

69

Using technology, the linear model Obtian by fitting the given data is :

Y = -0.09594X + 74.35629 ;

Where ;

Y = stress tolerance (dependent variable)

X= Average annual salary (Independent variable)

Slope = 0.09594

Intercept = 74.35629

Plot the following radian measures on the given unit circle
son4ous [18]

By our very goofy system the circle constant \pi denotes half a circle, 180^\circ. So the conversion factor from radians to degrees is

\dfrac{ 180^\circ}{\pi}

\dfrac{\pi}{3} \times \dfrac{ 180^\circ}{\pi} = 60 ^\circ

Calling the rightmost dot [1] and counting counterclockwise, that's dot [4].

\dfrac{2\pi}{3}  \times \dfrac{ 180^\circ}{\pi} = \dfrac{2}{3} \times 180^\circ = 120^\circ

That's dot [6]

\dfrac{4\pi}{3} \times \dfrac{ 180^\circ}{\pi} = \dfrac{4}{3} \times 180^\circ = 240^\circ

That's dot [12]

\dfrac{5\pi}{3} \times \dfrac{ 180^\circ}{\pi} = \dfrac{5}{3} \times 180^\circ = 300^\circ

That's dot [14]

I lost my protractor,what else can I use to measure and name angles? Thanks a lot!
kogti [31]
Only thing I can tell you is to use a corner to a piece of paper. The corner is 90 degrees.  It's acute if the corner is bigger than the angle. Obtuse if its smaller.

Prove if a and b are integers, prove that if a is even and b is even then a+b is even
jeka57 [31]

Answer:

Let a and b integers and suppose that are even numbers. Then, exist integers k and m such that a=2k and b=2m.

Then,

a+b=2k+2m=2(k+m)=2n

Since, k and m are integers then n=k+m is an integer. Then, since a + b is of the form 2 by an integer n, then a + b is an even number.
