<em>It would effect cotton planter's because the less cotton that get's produced and bought, the planters would go in debt or have to find a new specialty away from cotton farming.</em>

Also with falling cotton prices might lead to less demand for farm workers because with prices falling there would be less money to pay the cotton farmers for there work, with this more of those workers would lose there jobs and there would no longer be a need for cotton farmers.</em>
