antoniya [11.8K]
If the head of the department is elected by the governor then first, the governor will have an influence over who the head of the department is, and second, it will mean that this person will have to seek approval of the governor - this will support cooperation.

Are teens who spend more time on social media more likely to suffer anxiety and/or depression?
Ierofanga [76]

Answer:

There is a strong correlation, and many do answer yes to this question, however, one must not mistake correlation for causation. While there is an increase in anxiety and depression in today's youths, we ought to try and look beyond just social media for a cause of this. In some cases, social media is the cause, but there is often an underlying cause besides just this, and often times there is an entirely different reason all together. Each case is different in and of itself.

What is a difference between an authoritarian government and a democratic government?
Vikentia [17]

A democratic government gives citizens the right to directly vote gov't officials into office to represent them.

On the other hand, authoritarian regimes are built from strong central governments with little to no political freedoms for citizens.

So, the primary different between a democratic and authoritarian government is the citizens' political power/freedom.
