They do that as a form of survival mechanism.
Crickets could notify another organism's position if that organism are coming close to them.
In order to hide their position, crickets will stop the chirping so that organism wouldn't have any clue on the direction to the cricket's position.

Which of the following factors will not affect a balanced physiology?
Ivan
The correct option is B.
A balanced physiology can be affected by elevation because as the altitude change, there will be changes in the surrounding air pressure and this will affect the person's internal system. Sun exposure and humidity will also affect a balanced physiology because, they will affect the amount of water, that is been lost from the body system.
Precipitation type on the other hand has no effect whatsoever on a balanced physiology.<span />

Provide an example of cultural bias in counseling/psychological research and support your answer with at least one scholarly ref
Lostsunrise [7]

Numerous scholars have been interested in the connection between culture and therapy recently. Multicultural counselling is an idea that was born out of the realisation of the value of cultural competency in counselling. Despite the fact that counselling techniques have been enhanced by a focus on cultural competency, there is still a basic cultural bias present in many of the current therapy methods.

Cultural biases are caused, among other things, by the fact that the majority of counselling techniques were developed within the framework of the mostly Euro-American society. Counseling techniques could be successful with Euro-Americans, but they might not be with other minority cultural and ethnic groups.

Counselors frequently place greater emphasis on the client as an individual rather than taking into account how other people might contribute to the healing process. This presumption might have detrimental effects on ethnic groups who place a high importance on social harmony and family, including Hispanic and Asian Americans.

An IQ test evaluating Western IQ, for instance, may be constructed to "favour" Western cultures. Simply because the exam measures something using the standards of many cultural experiences, using it in non-Western cultures may skew the findings.
